Things to do during your stay
Cornwall is an extremely popular holiday destination and it is easy to see why. However, traditional buildings are not often designed to accommodate big groups. If you are searching for large cottages to rent, Kingfisher Cottage not only offers space for 12 but is charmingly unique. The perfect blend of cosy and modern, with sea-themed decor reminding you just how close you are to the coast.
You may feel so at home that you’ll be reluctant to venture beyond the cottage. However, although surrounded by countryside, you are still in easy reach of everything the county has to offer. East Cornwall is home to stunning beaches, quaint fishing villages and plenty of pasty shops, not to mention numerous unique attractions to keep everyone entertained.
We have put together a selection of the top things to do during your stay which will give you a head start as you plan your trip.
When you arrive, please use our Intercom. And then head to Reception.
If you are planning to arrive after 6pm when some of our Receptions close, or are running late, please let the park know in advance so we can make alternative arrangements for your arrival. Please note that unless you have advised us in advance, if you do not arrive on the date stated on your confirmation, your booking will be cancelled the following day and we reserve the right to re-sell the accommodation.
Up to 2 well-trained small dogs (or 1 medium/large) of breeds not listed on the Dangerous Dogs Act, and their responsible owners, are welcome on the park and in DESIGNATED holiday accommodation only. There is a charge reflecting the increased cost of cleaning and maintaining dog-friendly accommodations. When booking, look out for specific ‘Dog friendly’ accommodation or ask our helpful reservations team to point you in the right direction. We regret however that only Registered Assistance dogs are permitted in the facilities. If you’ve brought your four-legged friend on holiday with you, we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times whilst outside with the exception of the designated dog walking area. Unfortunately we are not able to accept any pets other than dogs. When dogs are inside the accommodation they must sleep in their own beds. We also ask that dogs are not left unaccompanied within your accommodation as they may get nervous with new surroundings!
Our Stargazy Bar & Grill welcomes our four-legged friends in!
You will also find our dog walking field located on the entrance to the park along with our wildlife walk!
Within all our accommodation you are provided with towels and bed linen.
Our “Waterside Holidays Group” App is your OnPark pocket guide to seeing What’s On, finding out Opening Times, Booking fun activities and entertainment, and lots more! Depending on Government Covid restrictions, it may be that we are required to limit the number of bathers in our pools. If this is the case, you will be advised in your pre-arrival email and bookings will be made available via the App or at reception.
