The Oaks

Nestled along a peaceful cul-de-sac, The Oaks offers a welcoming, neighbourly feel with 17 lodges neatly lined up (and no, you won’t find an unlucky number 13 here). Being one of the closest areas to the main entrance and facilities, it’s ideal for those who like convenience without losing the sense of a relaxing retreat. Here, you’re well connected yet still surrounded by greenery, with a calm, community-like atmosphere.

Cedar Falls

Just beside The Oaks, with only six lodges tucked away at the edge of the park, Cedar Falls is a truly tranquil hideaway. Surrounded by woodland, this pocket-sized development feels secluded and peaceful, making it a favourite for those who want a quiet escape. Further from the facilities, it offers more privacy and the luxury of hearing nothing but the breeze through the trees.

The Cedars

Set against the gentle backdrop of woodland and bordered by a stream, The Cedars combines nature with accessibility. With 14 lodges arranged along branching lanes, it has a tucked-away charm yet remains conveniently close to the park’s entrance and main facilities. The sound of running water and birdsong adds to its restorative appeal, making it perfect for those who want both peace and ease.

Smugglers View

Positioned nearer the front of the park, just a short stroll from the South West Coast Path and woodland walks, Smugglers View is a small cluster of just eight lodges along a single quiet road. Near the stream and close to the central facilities, it balances convenience with character. You'll find rural views over farmland from some lodges, while others look out towards the stream or the leafy setting around the pool. Woodland surroundings keep it private, while the sea air and coastal setting give it a refreshing, adventurous edge.

Kingfisher

The largest and most dramatic of the areas, Kingfisher sits closest to the coastline, stretching across an elevated landscape where charming slopes reveal spectacular sea views across Weymouth Bay and Portland from almost every lodge. Its varied layout creates a sense of exploration and space, while the woodland setting frames the shimmering horizon. The higher setting does mean a fairly steep hill up to the top, but the reward is in the panoramas. From here, you can step straight onto a woodland walk, blending coastal scenery with a natural retreat. Though a little further from the park’s facilities, Kingfisher rewards guests with some of the best outlooks and most impressive lodge settings in the whole park.
