At Bowleaze Cove Holiday Park we are committed to providing accessible facilities and accommodation to everyone. Periodic reviews of the park are carried out so that we can continually assess what we are offering and make changes where necessary. - The park has static holiday homes and privately owned static holiday homes for letting. The holiday homes normally have 3 steps with handrail access, but we do have units specifically for wheelchair users or guests with walking difficulties that have ramp access.
- Reception is able to help you make an informed choice about which caravan holiday home would best suit your needs, the area of the park which would be most suitable and will be able to advise you on access to all of our facilities.
- All caravan holiday homes have parking next to them for one car.
- Assistance dogs are very welcome, and we have an allocated exercise area for them.
- Bowleaze Cove Holiday Park is mostly level with tarmac roads incorporating an occasional speed bump. In the interests of safety a 10mph speed limit is in force.
- All of the facilities are one or two story buildings, which have a level entrance or ramp access into them. Where a facility is on two levels a lift has been installed. These facilities include the Sports Bar and the Gymnasium in the Leisure Complex. There is also lift access for wheelchair users to the outside swimming pool and terrace.
- Reception and the Sports Bar have a shared disabled toilet on the ground floor.
- The Leisure Complex has ramp access. There is a disabled changing room and toilet within the complex and the showers are accessible. There is a hoist available within the leisure complex.
- The sauna, steam room and gym are fully accessible to wheelchair users.
- The Spa has limited access available for wheelchair users and is dependant on treatment requested. Access to the hydrotherapy pool is available for manual wheelchair users, however there is no hoist to assist when getting into the pool. Please check when booking.
- There is a well-stocked shop on the park which has ramp access and is wheelchair friendly.
- The takeaway is easily accessed and wheelchair friendly.
- The restaurant has ramp access and a disabled toilet.
- The Sports Bar is accessible by using the lift in the Reception foyer.
- A launderette is available on the park with ramp access. Tokens for the machines are available from reception.
- A hire service is available on the park and they include the hire of both wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters should one be required. This is a chargeable service.
- Free Wi-Fi internet access is available across the park in all accommodation and facilities.
- Reception is open daily in peak seasons until 8pm on Monday, Friday & Saturday arrival days / 6pm rest of the week for all enquiries or assistance with any aspect of your holiday. Upon arrival you will also be given a park guide, which includes a map showing facility locations. This guide also includes emergency numbers for security, doctors and hospitals.
- For mobile telephones, reception is good on all areas of the park.
- The park is located in a residential area with access to public roads, public footpaths, bridle ways, cycle routes and a shingle beach.
- The park is serviced by First National Bus Service, which runs buses into Weymouth every 30 minutes. There are several bus stops inside the park enabling you to disembark close to your caravan.
- Buses have disabled access for manual wheelchair users or single pushchairs, however Reception are happy to call for a taxi for you, should one be required. Taxi fare into Weymouth is approximately £12.

- The park has static holiday homes and apartments for letting as well as privately owned static holiday homes. The holiday homes normally have 3 steps with handrail access, but we do have 3 units specifically used for wheelchair users or guests with walking difficulties that have ramp access. Our apartments are accessed up 2 flights of steps.
- Reception is able to help you make an informed choice about which caravan holiday home would best suit your needs, the area of the park which would be most suitable, and will be able to advise you on access to all of our facilities.
- All caravan holiday homes have parking next to them for one car, with the apartments having allocated parking underneath them.
- Assistance dogs are very welcome and we have an allocated exercise area for them.
- Chesil Beach Holiday Park is level with tarmac roads incorporating an occasional speed bump. In the interests of safety a 10mph speed limit is in force.
- All of the facilities are single story buildings, which have a level entrance or ramp access into them.
- The Venue has a disabled toilet which opens with the use of a Radar key. This can be obtained from the Venue bar if you do not have one.
- The Leisure Complex is accessed through the front door and there is ramp access to the main swimming pool and changing area. There is a disabled changing room and toilet within the complex and the showers are accessible, although there is a small lip to step over. There is no hoist available within the Leisure Complex.
- The sauna and gym are fully accessible to wheelchair users.
- There is a shop on the park which has a level access way and is wheelchair friendly.
- The restaurant is easily accessed and is wheelchair friendly.
- A launderette is available on the park with level access. Change for the machines is always available from Reception. Should it be required, service washes can be arranged with Reception and our Housekeeping department.
- A hire service is available on the park and they include the hire of wheelchairs should one be required.
- Free Wi-Fi internet access is available across the park in all accommodation and facilities.
- Reception is open daily until 7pm on Monday, Friday & Saturday arrival days / 5pm rest of the week for all enquiries or assistance with any aspect of your holiday. Upon arrival you will be given a park guide, which includes a map showing facility locations. This guide also includes emergency numbers for security, doctors and hospitals.
- A public telephone is located on the park and is situated by the adventure play area. For mobile telephones reception is good on all areas of the park.
- The park is located in a residential area with access to public roads, public footpaths, bridle ways and cycle routes.
- The park is serviced by a bus service with the nearest stop being just outside the entrance to the park. Buses run to the main town centre approximately every 10 minutes.
- Weymouth town centre and train station is approximately 4 miles away, with both being serviced by taxis (approx. £10) that are wheelchair friendly.

- The park has letting lodges and privately owned lodges, some of which are also used for letting. Some of the lodges in the Kingfisher area have either a slight uphill or downhill path followed by 2 or 3 steps onto a wooden decking area. Some of the lodges have a roof terrace which is only accessible by an external spiral staircase.
- Reception is able to help you make an informed choice about which lodge would best suit your needs, the area of the park which would be most suitable, and will be able to advise you on access to all of our facilities.
- All lodges have parking next to them.
- Assistance dogs are very welcome, but we would request that they are exercised off the park.

Tregoad Holiday Park
At Tregoad Holiday Park we are committed to providing accessible facilities and accommodation to everyone. Periodic reviews of the park are carried out so that we can continually assess what we are offering and make changes where necessary. Please find listed below specific points we feel will help you make an informed choice about your ideal holiday destination.
- The park has static holiday homes and privately owned static holiday homes for letting. Standard holiday homes normally have 3 steps with handrail access. Our accessible holiday homes feature a lit ramp with a wider door (42″) to enable wheelchair access. Accessible holiday homes also feature wider corridors with larger rooms and sliding doors, low work tops and appliances to enable wheelchair users to use the facilities in the kitchen area. Accessible holiday homes also have a grabber for ease of stretching. There is a ramp into the wet room with a shower unit. Shower chair and grab handles are all around. The toilet seat is a raised pedestal. Within an accessible holiday home you will find a portable hoist with a maximum weight limit of 115kg, which can assist in getting you into one of four full size single beds. You will find three plug sockets in each of the twin rooms, one in each room with a USB connection. There are also more sockets around the accommodation.
- Specialist hire equipment can be delivered on the morning on your arrival and we can arrange for it to be in your accommodation, however we cannot be responsible for setting up of the equipment.
- Reception is able to help you make an informed choice about which caravan holiday home would best suit your needs, the area of the park which would be most suitable and will be able to advise you on access to all of our facilities.
- Majority of our caravan holiday homes have parking next to them for one car. Some accommodations including the Cottages have nearby communal parking.
- Service dogs are welcome everywhere with you during your stay here at Tregoad, and we do have a dog exercising area on the park . They will even receive their very own welcome pack with Doggy treats in and more.
- Tregoad Holiday Park is undulating with tarmac roads incorporating an occasional speed bump. In the interests of safety, a 10mph speed limit is in force. Please note that our park is situated within the hillside surrounding Looe, so the tarmacked roads are on slight hills throughout the park.
- All of the facilities are one story buildings, which have a level entrance or ramp access into them.
- Stargazy Bar & Grill is fully accessible, it has a disabled toilet which is accessed by use of a key. This can be obtained from the bar. Access to Stargazy is via a flat path where you could sit around an outdoor firepit and relax with a drink, enjoying a balmy summer evening. Alternatively, Stargazy offer takeaway and a delivery service. Stargazy also have some great live music acts that are in the family room at Stargazy, all fully accessible.
- The swimming pool complex and sun terrace is accessible with a slope into the building. The showers are also accessible. There are a few steps descending into the water. There is no hoist available at the present time. If assistance is required for sensory issues, please contact a member of staff who can assist with a quieter swim.
- We have a beautiful lake area, which is lovely to sit and take in the wonderful natural surroundings and wildlife. It is reached down a gravel slope, which is not easily accessible. However, we can arrange for you to be taken down to the lake area in one our non-wheelchair friendly buggies. For the younger guests we have forest rangers which does take part by the lakes.
- There are a range of children’s activities on offer in peak season, most of which take place at Stargazy. Pistol shooting does however take place on our playing field.
- There is an essential shop on the park which has ramp access and is wheelchair friendly.
- Should you need it, the laundry is fully accessible with card payments only.
- Free Wi-Fi internet access is available across the park in all accommodation and facilities.
- Reception is open daily, opening times do vary, please see times on the door of reception. Upon arrival you will be given a park guide, which includes a map showing facility locations. This guide also includes emergency numbers for security, doctors and hospitals.
- Mobile telephone reception is good dependant on which operator you are with. Being in a rural area not everyone always gets a positive signal. We do have superfast Wi-Fi.
- The park is located in a rural coastal area with access to public roads.
- The park is serviced by City Bus Plymouth, which runs buses into Looe every 1 hour – 2 hours, depending on the time of year. The bus stop is inside the park just outside reception by the roundabout enabling you to disembark close to your caravan.
- Buses have disabled access for manual wheelchair users or single pushchairs, however Reception are happy to call for a taxi for you, should one be required. Taxi fare into Looe is approximately £7
