This iconic landmark offers a glimpse into England’s medieval past and provides spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Purbeck Hills. Wander through the ruins, explore the visitor centre, and enjoy the charming village of Corfe, where you can grab a bite to eat or pick up a souvenir.

    Portland Bill Lighthouse

Perched at the southern tip of the Isle of Portland, the iconic Portland Bill Lighthouse is a must-see for visitors to the area. This striking red and white tower has been guiding ships safely through the English Channel since 1906. Climb the 153 steps to the top for breathtaking views of the rugged coastline and the vast expanse of the sea. The lighthouse also features a visitor centre, where you can learn about its rich maritime history and the vital role it continues to play in keeping seafarers safe. After your visit, take a scenic walk along the coastline and enjoy the dramatic beauty of the surrounding landscape.

This rescue centre is home to a diverse range of primate species and is dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of monkeys and apes. With informative talks and interactive exhibits, you’ll leave with a great appreciation for these incredible creatures.
