    Nothe Fort

    • Nothe Fort is Weymouth’s number one heritage attraction. Located at the entrance to Weymouth Harbour, the Fort offers excellent 360 degree views across Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.
    • Discover the maze of underground passages, a museum of the Fort’s history, parade ground, impressive guns positioned high on the ramparts, and fun trails to keep the children busy.
    • The Fort View Cafe serves wonderful home made cakes and lunches.

    Chesil Beach

    • A long stretch of pebble and shingle beach just a short distance from Chesil Beach Holiday Park.
    • Go for a late afternoon stroll or partake in a spot of fishing while looking out to sea.
    • Take a blanket and some snacks to sit and enjoy the early evening sunset and stunning views next to the lighthouse at Portland Bill.

    Portland

    • The Isle of Portland is a limestone tied island famous for shipwrecks.
    • 8 kilometres south of the resort of Weymouth, and the southernmost point of Dorset.

    Abbotsbury Swannery

    • Walk through the only managed colony of nesting mute swans in the world.
    • There are up to an incredible 600 swans on site during the main season.
    • From mid-May to June you can even watch the cygnets hatch.

    Durdle Door

    • An incredible, natural limestone arch at one end of a pebble and shingle beach near Lulworth.
    • Part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
    • One of the most photographed and iconic landmarks in the area.

    Lulworth Cove and Castle

    • Famous for its interesting geology and breath-taking scenery, Lulworth Cove is well worth a visit.
    • Take a walk around the pebble beach, swim in the sea, or get an ice cream or something to eat in one of the cafes.

    Careys Secret Garden
