Halloween at Waterside
30 / October / 2024
As Halloween quickly creeps up, we’ve been enjoying lots of festivities at Waterside, celebrating the spooky season with exciting activities, lively shows, and family fun. But don’t worry if you’ve missed some of the earlier thrills – there’s still plenty of magic, music, and mayhem to take part in! We’ve got something for everyone!
Bowleaze Cove
It has been a hub of Halloween excitement at Bowleaze Cove this October! Families have already enjoyed the fabulous Aladdin Pantomime, the little ones have been having a blast with our morning Monster Tots, and there’s been no shortage of Halloween-inspired creativity with our Creepy Crafts and Pumpkin Carving sessions.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! There are still plenty of activities on offer for the upcoming final weekend! Come on down to join our Family Sports Day, Bingo and Kids Science Lessons! For a mix of entertainment, be sure to catch the Gary & Robbie Experience, or dance the night away with live music from The Review and Tide of Sound.
And don’t forget, on November 1st, we’re closing out the season with a spectacular fireworks display on Southside Green at 8:45pm.
Chesil Beach
Chesil Beach has been filled with festive fun this season! From Pumpkin Carving to the Spooky Horror Hunt, the atmosphere has been frightful! Children have loved the Monster Tots and showing off their skills in our Talent Showcase.
Still to come we have live entertainment from Lee Wilkinson, The Review and more. If you’re looking for activities, don’t miss out on your last chance to get creative with Halloween Arts & Crafts, Pumpkin Carving, Segways, and a Tots Disco!
Tregoad
Tregoad has had a super eerie atmosphere this week with its unique mix of events. Families have enjoyed the Spooktacular Charity Quiz Night raising money for Cornwall Air Ambulance, and our younger guests have loved the hands-on Awesome Autumn Fun activities.
But the spooky excitement isn’t over yet! Hop on our Ghost Train for a chilling ride through the park, or join us on a Bat Spotting adventure by Tregoad Lakes. Feeling adventurous? Try out a new skill like Pole Fishing or Frisbee Golf, or if you’re looking for a more relaxed vibe, enjoy performances from talented local artists like Gary Burling and Lee Quinney.
Halloween at Tregoad isn’t just about tricks – it’s about treats and family fun, connecting with nature and learning something new. Don’t miss out on our forest rangers session where you can learn to light fires, toast marshmallows and build nests.
So, whether you’re crafting creepy keepsakes, carving pumpkins, hunting for horror, or enjoying live music, there’s no shortage of Halloween fun at Waterside. We’ve got the perfect mix of spooky and spectacular to make your Halloween holiday one to remember. Don’t forget to pack your costume!
