Your Home for the Festive Season

There's something special about the coast in winter.

The slower mornings. The crisp countryside air. The dog racing across an empty beach while the kettle boils back at the cottage. The family finally having nowhere else to be.

And now, for the first time, you can enjoy Christmas and New Year at Tregoad Holiday Park.

A full family Christmas. A peaceful pre-Christmas escape. A Twixmas getaway. Or, a memorable New Year celebration. Our cosy cottages and Manor House provide the perfect place to come together and make memories that will last long after the decorations come down.

Discover Cornwall in Winter

Winter is one of Cornwall's best-kept secrets.

Spend crisp afternoons exploring Looe's picturesque harbour, festive lights, independent shops and cosy pubs before heading back to the warmth of your cottage.

Enjoy peaceful coastal walks, quieter beaches and the slower pace that makes winter escapes so special.

Then return home for hot chocolates, family games and evenings filled with laughter.

A Magical New Year by the Coast

Welcome 2027 surrounded by the people you love most.

Cornwall comes alive over New Year, with celebrations across the region, fireworks over the water, lively harbour atmospheres and unforgettable countdown moments.

Planning a family gathering? After a relaxing break between Christmas and New Year? Tregoad provides the perfect base to celebrate together.

A Season to Slow Down

November stays include access to Tregoad's facilities before the park settles into a quieter winter pace through December.

It's a chance to switch off from the everyday, embrace slower days, and enjoy the simple things together.

The foggy morning walks.

The hot chocolates piled high with marshmallows.

The card games that last longer than they should.

The memories you don't realise you're making until years later.

Bring the board game champion.

Bring the overpacker.

Bring the one who starts playing Christmas music in November.

Bring the dog, obviously.

Our spacious cottages and Manor House give families the freedom to celebrate the festive season however they choose, with room to relax, reconnect and create traditions of your own.

From the uncle who gets too competitive during charades to the family member who insists on "just one more photo", every Christmas character has their place here.

Stories From Our Guests

We visited the bar-bistro (food highly recommended!) which has live music on some nights. It's great that they have their own walks on site down to the lakes which is perfect for a doggy walk.

Stories From Our Guests

Looe is close by but isn't the easiest place to park, so we were really pleased to find that regular buses come right up to the park gate and can take you all the way to Polperro and Plymouth.
