Can I choose where my holiday home is located?
Yes. Once you have chosen your holiday park in Dorset or Cornwall, Waterside will show you the pitches suitable for the size and type of holiday home you’re purchasing, then you can choose the location that suits you best.
Can I visit and view the holiday homes before buying?
A Park Visit gives you the chance to meet the ownership team, explore the park, view suitable holiday homes, see available pitches and discuss finance options. Waterside also says visitors can bring the family and enjoy lunch on them with a £30 onsite voucher, subject to terms.
Can I let out my holiday home?
Yes, subletting is allowed and many owners choose to do this. We offer a fully managed subletting service to help you offset your costs.
Will the whole park stay open during extended season for owners?
Park access remains fully open to owners but facility availability is limited. The majority of on-park facilities (including restaurants and bars, swimming pools, spa facilities, activities and scheduled entertainment) operate strictly from mid-March until the end of October.
Can I live in my holiday home permanently?
No. Our premium parks operate on seasonal holiday licenses, meaning they are closed for a brief period during the winter months. Holiday home ownership is designed purely for leisure, family escapes, and personal holidays, rather than a primary permanent address.
What do site fees include?
Site fees cover the cost of your plot, maintenance of the park, security, use of facilities and more. You'll also get discounts, access to owner events, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
How much are the annual site fees in Dorset and Cornwall?
Annual pitch fees vary based on your choice of our four unique parks across Dorset and Cornwall, as well as the specific orientation and size of your chosen plot (e.g., premium gated lodge developments vs. standard caravan pitches). We provide completely itemised quotes during your VIP Park Visit.

How do I keep my holiday home maintained throughout the year?
We have a dedicated team to help you look after your holiday home. From lawn mowing to plumbing and wet weather checks, we'll make sure it’s well cared for even when you're not there.
Are friends and family allowed to come and use the facilities?
Most certainly! For many, being able to invite family and friends to stay is part of the joy of owning a holiday home. Our complimentary concierge can make the arrangements and greet your family and friends into the park if you are unable to. Use of all the leisure facilities is complimentary for all of your immediate family (parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren). Wider family (such as uncles, aunties, brothers and sisters) receive complimentary entry to our entertainment venues and are very welcome to use the leisure facilities for a small charge.
